NEW  Hillsborough County in Tampa, Florida is seeking a Project Manager II in Project Control.  Salary range $53,435 to $84,822 annually.

Job OverviewInitiates and completes routine and complex aspects of project control assignments related to Scheduling. Performs the more complex aspects of scheduling, change documentation and schedule control. Supports management of Public Works’ Capital Improvement Projects which have visibility, impact and risk at the County level. Description:

Project Control Specialist – Scheduling Analyst. This position is responsible for initiating and completing routine and complex aspects of project control assignments related to Scheduling.   Master Scheduler (UPR), Universal Orlando


JOB SUMMARY: The Master Scheduler is responsible for developing and integrating comprehensive project plans and schedules throughout the project life cycles – concept design through turnover for each of the projects that Universal Creative undertakes. In addition, an important function is to collect, integrate and monitor current project schedules, future projects and anticipated projects into a Portfolio Master Schedule that tracks and monitors all current, future and projected projects providing management input into future project selection, providing “what-if” input and analysis and project execution timing requirements. Also, responsible to track current and forecast future resource needs based on the Portfolio Master Schedule.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

• Supervise project, scope documents and identification of deliverables.

• Oversee and assist in the development of the appropriate level of detail for work package definition, including durations and logic sequences.

• Establish policy, scheduling procedures and templates to ensure effective support of project needs.

• Oversee coordination and integration of schedule input from all internal and external sources.

• Develop project schedule, modify as necessary and assist staff in specific portfolio requirements.

• Generate and review report progress, evaluate and resolve variances and develop work-around plans.

• Conduct resource loading analysis as required.

• Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, construction, or engineering required.


EXPERIENCE: 5-7 years’ theme park environment experience preferred. 7-10 years’ planning and scheduling or cost engineering experience required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Job Description: Ardmore is seeking a program scheduler to be based at our client site at the Orlando International Airport.

 

Job requirements include:

-Develop master program schedule using Primavera 6 Scheduling Software.

-Maintains program schedule including progress updates, revising forecasts, and evaluating impact of delay.

-Performs detailed review of contractor schedule submittals, including baseline and progress updates.

-Reviews and monitor contractor schedules on a weekly basis. Incorporate progress into

master schedule.

-Communicates status of program schedule and key risk areas to members of program

management team.

-Performs schedule analysis critical activities, risk areas, key milestones and significant

changes to schedule.

-Prepares reporting and forecasting as requested by the program management team.

-Performs claims related analysis using contractor claims, delay cost estimates, time impacts, etc.

-Develops what if scenarios to explore alternate sequencing in order to mitigate or avoid

schedule delays.

-Performs other tasks related to management of program schedule as required.


Educational Background Required:

-Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture and Construction Management and 5 years of project controls experience.

-Without preferred degree, 8 years of experience in project controls.
