Good things are happening at our Orlando-based Section. We’re reorganizing and refocusing to benefit the entire membership. Over 125 members are located in a wide geographical area from greater Orlando west to Tampa Bay, east to the Space Coast, north to Jacksonville, Gainesville, the Panhandle and all points in between. Their cost engineering expertise ranges from residential and commercial to industrial, from power generation and manufacturing to space exploration.
New monthly programs are being planned with informative speakers on cutting-edge topics, including at least one all-day or half-day symposium with a nationally recognized expert, and a special December holiday meeting.
We offer excellent technical resources and professional tools, a certification program, scholarships, educational and employment opportunities, direct links to AACE International, and some of the best networking around. Our goal is to provide cost engineers with the knowledge, training, education and resources needed to help advance their careers and the profession as a whole.
So, come join us and explore our newly designed Web site. Watch for added features coming soon, and visit often for the latest Section news.
We invite all members and those interested in joining to attend a Section meeting or event in the near future.
